Off the Corvette forum.

This'll give you a glimpse of the way I drive on the track.

Why can't we build a track like that over here? I'm sure there is plenty of real estate in one of the 'empty' states in the Midwest!!

I thought it was all over about half way through the lap, when he hit the rumble strip and the cameras went out of focus!

Man, he hit sixth at least once on a very long straight. Mega fast. Could've been faster if the red porsche got out of his way.

Whew...I'm outta breath just watching...

I wonder what he was doing on that lap, qualifying? He looked really pumped once he crossed the finish line.

Well, GM built a proving ground that kinda mimicked the Ring. I know, it's no good for us, the public.

Can't wait to see this video....but 52meg on dial-up. Good thing I'll be staying in a hotel with hi-speed tonight. I've seen some crazy videos of a RUF Yellow Bird at the Ring. I probably have it burnt on a cd somewhere.

That's a good way to remind me that the definition of "novice" is much broader than I realized. :stupid:

AWESOME!!!! You better have a good memory to drive that track at the limit for an entire lap.

Get the Game Grand Prix Legends and you can drive that track. Incredebly accurate.

That video is AWESOME! It makes me think, "oh shit, he's gonna crash!", but then I realize I'm not watching a vid of my driving...

I saw Hans Stuck in 91 driving in DTM in South Africa. His car placement and shift points (always within 1 foot) were amazing. Looks like he lost none of his touch.

Anyone have an idea if this is available elsewhere. I neglected to save the vid.

I wish that video had telemetry, I would love to what the car was doing.

Was that a clutchless trans or is he that much of a bad ass?
