I need four 275/40-17 Nitto 555RII

It appears Discount Tire Direct is still the best place. If you were buying who would you reccomend other than DTD?

DTD now charges for shipping. The no shipping charge made for a low tire price.

If someone has a new set they do not want, then send a note.

Thanks

It does not appear tirerack offers the Nitto brand.

I too have bought several sets of the Rs and RIIs from Discount Tire Direct. Note that they don't have the RIIs categorized as competition tires, hitting the link will take you directly to the RII page.

There's also Todd @ ProDyno (www.prodyno.com)
Todd used to work for DTD, for those of you that know who he is.

I've always used DTD for them. I've yet to see them anywhere else cheaper. And no, Tirerack does not carry Nitto/Toyo.

I waited a couple of days for Todd [prodyno, formerly of DTD] to respond to email prior to posting here.

That aside, I got him on the phone today and he was able to beat current DTD delivered prices on the 555RII. Not the same price as last year's set, but damn it what is as cheap as last year...
