The Year One show at Road Atlanta and Atlanta Dragway is this week-end (04/22 thru 04/24). There are events at both venues Friday and Saturday and Road Atlanta on Sunday. The schedule and details are here:Year One

Events include a car show, manufacturer's midway, chassis dyno, dry autocross, wet autocross, swap meet, parade laps at Road Atlanta, hot laps with Panoz School drivers, test and tune sessions at Atlanta Dragway, etc.

The folks at LS1tech are holding their drag race competitions at Commerce in conjunction with Year One. Year One is hosting drag race and autocross competitions as well. Depending on what type ticket you get, you can do passes at the drag strip and autocross for time only without entering the competition.

There will be two hot lap sessions at Road Atlanta on Sunday behind the Panoz pace car. I've bought my slot ($125) and the info I received said there would be 30 minutes of classroom instruction, a ride around the course in the Panoz van with their instructors, and "at least" two 20 minute track sessions.

Should be a lot of fun.
