Some of those cars received the cooler and some didn't. Same with the 1LE cars. I've seen '98s with and without. I don't think any "regular" Z28s received it but I'm not positive about that.

They were an option on Z28's for a while-so yes some come with them. However, I believe they became standard on Z28's in '02.

The power steering cooler came as part of the SS package. It was an orderable RPO option on Z28's. I used to know the RPO code for the cooler, but I guess I'm getting old. I can't remember what it is... I am sure that this is accurate.

My 93 doesnt have a cooler yet and figure from what I read I need one before hitting the track.

I found mine over on LS1.com in the classifieds.
Look for someone parting out an SS or WS6.

Mine came off of a low mileage 2001 WS6 and I got the heat exchanger, coolant lines and PS lines. I didn't get the clip that the cooler rests in, though.

they definately were an option on Z28's... my 2000 Z28 came with one.. it was like a 100 dollar option

It's standard on my '02.

I believe Mitch found it more effective than his behind-the-air-dam-mounted cooler.
