You know, the swirley looking ones. I thought I saw some on here for sale a while back, don't see them now. I'm pretty sure they are 16x8's.

They are 16x8's (I had a set, sold them long ago).

They are rather light.

Was it you that had them for sale? I thought is was someone else. Anyway, my wife wants them for her '93 TA, and she hates five-spokes. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Your wife has seen stock 93-94 "swirlies" hasn't she? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I don't have mine anymore but they were so ugly I had a hard time giving them away. I would check the for sale forum on camaroz28.com. I used to see people trying to sell them for $100 a set all of them time.

(IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Ha ha yeah she has a '93 TA, so she already has one set of swirlies, now she want's another set to put winter tires on. I have no idea why she likes them, most people hate them. I tried to give her my stock SS wheels, but she thought they were ugly so I pawned those off on some loser - whoops sorry Kevin! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Just kidding! At least you got a good price on them!

I'll check on camaroz28.com.

Yup, and I got more questions at the f-body event about those graphite wheels than you can imagine. I like them and the price was great. Thanks Cal!

Show her these, already have M&S rated tires on them.

Would consider offers, Mitch knows that I do a fair deal.

I'm glad you like them . . . but what kind of alchemistry did you perform on them to transform the aluminum into graphite? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Well, I don't want to speak for Kevin... but I will jump in and mention that enough hammering can solve anything... at least in his garage. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It's a secret, but it involved lots of brake heat, a hammer, and plenty of free time.

I've got a set but they are color keyed white and are fairly scratched up from being moved around the garage and me simply not caring what happens to them. Sound nice don't they. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I'll make you a hell of a deal just to get them out of my garage.

I'll run this buy my wife and see what she says . . . she only wants them for winter tires, so their condition isn't a big deal. But painted white? On her black car? We might have to re-key the color! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Is that just spray can white paint or powder coat? If spray can paint I can probably get the paint back off them.

They are a factory finish to match the car so I suspect they are painted. The other problem I just thought of is the center caps are white plastic. Here is a picture of what they look like.

I'll see what she thinks. Factory paint could be powder coat or something hard to remove, but we could repaint them. Center caps aren't a problem as long as compatible with the old wheels; she can just use the old center caps with either set of wheels.

I have a set too. Same condition as Jeff's. I'd like to get $100 for my set. They have the original factory silver paint. I used them for autocross tires in 2003. Been sitting ever since. They still have the roasted Victoracers on them if you'd like to release a little smoke out of them before you install new rubber.

Ha ha I always like to release smoke, maybe that's why I'm doing a clutch install right now! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Are the Victos corded yet? Maybe I could finish them at the Evo school. I think your wheels would be better than Jeff's because they are already the right color. (sorry Jeff) My wife already said she would spend $100 on the wheels so we may have a deal. I'll run it by her tonight on the phone; she's out of town right now. More garage time for me.
