I'm looking at possibly relocating to Palmdale, Victorville, or Ridgecrest (China Lake), and I was wondering if anybody here is from that area.
I'd just like to get more info on the area. I've been to Ridgecrest so far, and the wife and I like it, but we haven't got a chance to get to Palmdale or Victorville. Right now, I'm looking for cost of living, cost of housing, good/bad areas to live, better places for gearheads, etc. Thanks. John |

John I am in bakersfield, and I traval to all of these place's on business offten. I Say for a gearhead plamdale hands down, but cost of living is higher i'd say. There is all way's Rosamond(Willowspring's raceway) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

What's a good place on the outskirts of Palmdale, or between Palmdale and Victorville?
I know that there's nothing in/around Mojave, so if I don't go to Ridgecrest, anywhere I will go will either be in Lancaster, or south of Edwards AFB> Thanks again. John |

John Rosamond, Halfway between Edward's and Willowspring's racway :drive: About 6mile's each way. And just 15 mile's from palmdale/Lancaster. |
