I am giving SERIOUS thought to selling my car.

'96 Firebird
Almost no expense was spared getting this thing ready. And that's
mostly the reason for the sale ... gotta stop the bleeding.

I would let it go for $12.5K

And it has a nice, long list of spares

brakes
fluids
tires
wheels
body panels
motor
suspension
electrical

It's made a podium finish each time it's been entered. With a better
driver behind the wheel, it would've won at NPR.

BAH!

Don't sell now and let some guy take advantage of all your hard work! The bleeding will slow to a moderate trickle now that the "big expense" of building the car is done.....

If you sell know, you are just another statistic in my age old truism....

Buying used race cars IS ALWAYS better than building your own.....as far as the "smart" money goes....

To those out there....take advantage of a feeble old guy's mental lapse while you can....he HAS to come to his senses soon!

DON'T DO IT.

Like was said earlier... The biggest expense is getting started...the rest are managable.

You lose big time when you sell because you can never get out of them what you put in. It's a commitment like raising a kid.

Hah, you're going about this all wrong. You're supposed to sell the street car to fund the race car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Good luck, Mitch.
