I have an opening for a Co-driver/Tire Warmer. No experience preferred. The ideal candidate will posses few skills and be exceedingly slow. If you can spend 50 seconds in a running car and not hit anything, you should meet all the qualifications for this position.... Congrats to Neil (Mericet), my co-driver who beat me today; taking his first class win and relegating me to second place for the day (out of 6 cars). This is why I'm looking for an unskilled replacement for him. I believe it's his first ever class win.

Nice Job Neil! (I don't know what you'll be driving tomorrow).

are you implying he would be better than you ?
if you don't want him to hit anything, such as ditches, go off-roading... does that include cones ? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

I'm not sure what I'm implying, but as of this weekend, he's kicking my butt.

Yes, congrats Neil.

Kevin, don't feel bad about kicking Neil out of the ride. He's all ready traded up to co-driving a LT1 Corvette in SM2. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) So now he'll kick your butt in someone else's car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)

Well, this weekend I did manage to go a little faster than you. Next time it could be different.

As for the co-drive with Richard. He offered and how could I really say no? :leaving:

I'll send you my resume. I'm sure I could qualify in all areas mentioned. I hardly ever hit cones(since I'm so slow) and wear lots of deodorant so I won't stink up your car either. but I can guaratee you my driving abilities stink (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Come on down!!!!

Liz (4manracing),

You better beat me in a full CP car on slicks..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif)

But, I bet I beat you on the pax index (though it may be very close).

And, I was going to drive that same Corvette on the fun runs on Sat (but neither of us wanted to spend 45 more minutes in the heat working to run the fun run session). Also, we feared that we'd cord the Nittos (They're still going), but at this point, they don't seem to be wearing at all (and they are not fast, but the last 32nd inch of tread seems to last forever. My best guess is that they are over 140 runs on those tires (Sean did an Evo school and I don't know how many events) and I've run about 70 runs on them (me and co drivers) so far. Since we keep "accidentally" winning/placing well with my car on those tires, I think we'll see how long they'll go. I may just finish the season on them now. What have I got to loose?

Now, if I could only learn to drive. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

Whoever lets me drive their car will still get lunch catered. I think the idea of deli style sandwiches made it easier for Richard to let me co-drive. Plus, he really wants warmer tires and brakes.

Dan's Deli is not too bad from what I hear but he only comes to Ackerman.
