I'm making the 700 mile tow from Illinois for my first time at Road Atlanta racing in American Iron. Any other F-Bodies going to be there?

Nah.... If I go anywhere, I'll be gaining points at Waterford that weekend. ...even that is looking iffy...

I do know that some Virginia (Mid Atlantic) Region Big Bore guys are planning on attending.

All NASA OH/IN and Midwest region events are free to attend, not sure about SE. I could use crew though as I will be making this trip alone. I believe crew or corner workers get in free.

Hi Mitch!

Good to hear from you old friend. I'm doing good. I hope all is well with you and the family. Hopefully the girls are staying out of trouble. I'm still in GA and got engaged a couple of months ago.

The H/C Z28 has been my daily driver, and that's about it for now. It needs a new rearend. I'd been doing HPDE in the Z06.

Sidney,

I can't make a commitment to help you out. It's hard when I'm on call 24/7. If I do make it, I can lend a hand. Let me know if you have any questions about the track. I live 45 mins away. I have runned low 1:40's at RA in my Z06 on V710's.

Videos of me chasing a friend's Viper GTS last Dec.

I have flown back to TX a few times but was limited to what I could do without my own car. I wouldn't mind driving to TX and doing an weekend event at MSR. Do you still live around the corner? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) The only problem would be me having to run on street tires which isn't a big deal, but I would rather tear up my track tires.

If you ever want to run at Road Atlanta let me know. One of my friends in TX came up in his C5 a couple of years ago. He had a blast, and it was his first road course.

Yessir, still live next door ... and they are expanding the track! So, it will be a real hoot.

Ship the tires to my place ... I'll shuttle them for you. We were at No Problem in Baton Rouge a few weeks ago. I should've contacted you.

Glenn and I had lunch with the Year One guys a while back and they said they were gonna extend an invitation to their Press Day at RA ... but never heard from them.

I'll get out there some day ...

Next time you fly in, let me know ... it'll be like old times ...

Decided to get my feet wet! HPDE 1..
Of course, I don't know what the hell I'm doing, modified the Z without a clear direction & now when it comes down to it, I still need decent wheels/tires & brakes! Damn!
Well, I'll get by for now (HDPE1).. wish I could at least get some decent brake fluid locally! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif)
