Hi guys. For those who don't know me, I used to run a Camaro in ESP class in the SoCal area. Now I'm running a Vette with mixed to poor results. While I'm not currently doing anything with an fbody right now, I'll stop in from time to time to stay current on who is running the "hot set-up". About the "politics" from another site I used to be affliated with? I'm not going say anything or answer any questions about it here. It sucked, the board melted down, and it's over. PS - Why does my car plow so bad when I come into a corner hot and late? Would new shocks help? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Werlcome McRat, glad to see you made it. As for your plowing problem, a set of really wide front tires may help, or just put skinnies on the rear, it will rotate then (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . Better yet, if you are that hot and late, just skip the corner, no plowing, problem solved!!! (I like to help when I can (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )

Cutting the corner sometimes yields quicker lap times.

As far as the plowing goes....... I just use the John Deere option, cut the corner and beat the rest to the next corner. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Welcome! |

(I like to help when I can  (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) I have seen that technique used in a Chicago box. If you aim just right, you can get through with just a couple of cones without a DNF (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Welcome! |
