Just wanted to share the fact that I had a blast @ the track last friday.
My car wasn't back... but Had lots of fun driving different cars, including a nice vette vert. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Here are some pix... I'm the guy in the vette, and you can see me in passenger in some pic.

Good deal Eugenio, do you think you will do more instructing in the future?

In the tread about your motor you had metioned that you might say the hell with this camaro, and go get a new zo6 :drive: A little part of me was like DO IT! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

nah... the camaro is staying.
I will indeed keep on instructing... it's lots of fun and been doing it the last few years.
It's so great to see the big (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) at the end of the day once the students have learned a lot and improved smoothness and safety, while being faster.

Looks like fun - I would not be lapping in a 'vert without a proper rollbar though! Hope you passed that on to the owner. You can't even get track time with most organizations or tracks I frequent out here on the west coast with a proper roll-bar set-up in 'verts.

... same thing out here on the East Coast, Julie. I noticed the Firebird 'vert, too.

Eugenio, what kind of speeds were you seeing during this event? What organization put this event on?

Glad everything went well. It is one of the best benefits to see the students come away with a better knowledge on the handleing of their car.

I organized the event and it was for local f-body club, even if we got non f-body friends come along.
It was a day for ppl to learn @ track.
my runs on the vette was as a pace car and showing the line and progressively increased speed in the morning... I then went from car to car.
It was a school day for local fbody club http://www.mfba.com
no real racing/competition.
All I requested was helmet, decent clothes and no yahoo's... the day was a success.
