Well the weather was perfect. 65 - 70 degrees, with a breeze, blue sky & light clouds. The track was fantastic (as always) and the racing and track time was fenominal.

Steve - I was busy with the Chief of Instruction most of Friday (that was me doing the car stagger coming off of the false grid at the end of the day), how'd you do?

I instructed both Sat and Sun, so I was ontrack most of the day, either in a students car or my own.

I did get a few pictures on Friday. They're listed HERE.

A great week-end overall.

Unfortunately, I was running my new Toyo tires. They suck. I don't like them at all. They feel almost like a street tire. Very little confidence in the car's handling.

The track was great. First time there. I loved it and you're right, the weather was great.

You guys did a great job operating the false grid and other aspects of the w'end.

I had to leave Sat as my diff was howling. I think the mech who installed the new T2R didn't do a good job on something. It goes back to him on Monday.

I'm looking to go to Summit on Friday, March 5th w/Car Guys. They are there 3/5-7. I did the Friday by itself last fall w/them. It was fantastic. Hardly anyone was there. Maybe 30 people tops for the entire day. The group was broken into several categories according to skill level and I was out there w/approx 5-7 others. It was great and I'd recommend you look into it if you have the time.

I've done FATT (Friday at the Track) back in '99, but with the NASA-VA schedule of events, I'll get to Summit about 5 times this season and that'll be enough. As it is we're alredy scheduled to include doing Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio and I'm trying to get to Road Atlanta in June, as well.

If you want a reference for performance work, Tom Oates Chevrolet in Chester Springs, PA. Ask to have Tim Coll do the work. He builds all the components for and turns the wrenches on their World Challenge GT car. He's done all the service work on the T1 & T2 cars over the years, as well.
