Got these from another forum (of course (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) ... in-car of the ITA race at the ARRC last month from Greg Amy. Greg's in an NX2000 (fast car, crappy front suspension) vs. lightweight Hondas. He qualified 4th, got as high as 2nd IIRC but finished 4th. I've kept his comments about each video.

Right-click, save as ...

Start of race, came out under the bridge in 2nd on first lap...got sideways up the hill in T1, lost momentum, which caused Joe to tag me going into T3 and I did an offroad...look for Kevin's killer pass soon thereafter...

Part two. Don't immediately recall offhand any highlights, except constantly dicing...

Part three. Restart after caution? Look for a brake problem in 10A (pad backing plates bent) that allowed Botha by and I lost touch with the group.

Finally! The finish!

Pat

Alex Mursesan (the winner of the ITA race and the 1st car in the first video) autocrosses a D-Stock Acura with us here in Atlanta. Great driver, always PAX's near the top.

Nice video's!

Well I can tell ya why he got around the 2 CRX's on the first lap.....their damn Hoosiers were WORN OUT! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) .....I have NEVER seen such aggressive tire scrubbing for so long in my life....watching the pace lap on the laptop made me dizzy!

That's what I was thinking too. That's not a short track, do to that all the way around is a LOT. Maybe I can ask Alex and see why he did it so long.
