Looks like maybe he early apexed leading to a track out point off the track! Who knows, maybe the tires saved him from either launching off the berm and into the trees. Or, he may have hit the grass and tried to pull back on and spun also.

I hear he was fine - I wasn't there. And luckily, the tires were just for marking off the apex - it was another 15-20 feet to the wall...

I hit the tire wall at Mid Ohio and while I am sure it softened the blow, the impact still got my full attention... I have it on video from a guy 3 cars back but once I leave the track, I also leave the camera's field of vision. Doesn't look like much. Felt like alot more!
