Guys and Gals,

I am trying to research rear alignment values on 3rd and 4th gen cars over time. What I am hoping to be able to get is the rear alignment specs from every f-body shop manual from 1982 through 2002. This may be the only place on the planet (other than some magical GM library in Detroit) where this may be possible.

For example, here is the page from the 1995 F-Body GM Shop Manual detailing the alignment specs for the 1995 model year:
http://shbox.com/1/alignment_specs.jpg

If you have a shop manual and are willing to contribute, please add the rear specs from your manual to this thread (assuming the year that you have isn't already posted).

Thanks,

Keith

Wow, up to 5 degrees positive?

If I did my math right, the top of the tire would be 2.25 inches further out than the bottom of the tire... That's a lot.

Ok, so I think that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that alignment numbers on these manuals didnt get the QA/QC they deserved (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) 5 degrees...that's funny

Hmm, I know this doesn't help for the rear, but the alignment guy that Jeff94TA and I use put this up for the front specs on his site, based upon what's in the Hunter database:

http://www.centralfloridastreetcars.com/al...gnmentspecs.htm

He said it doesn't have the settings for the rear because it's not designed to be adjustable :-)

I looked through my 92 service manual and couldn't find any alignment specs for anything but the front.

Allthough I like what you have down for 94, I believe Jeff94TA said it was +/- 0.6° +/- 0.6°. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Which would make 95 the changeover year to +/- 1.6*.
