With the stock oil cooler? I would guess this cooler doesn't do to much, but I really have no idea, since I have no temp gauge?

With my new heads and cam I am pretty sure I need a big cooler. What are you guys running, and does anyone have enough info where I can order the parts and rig it up?

In my z06 on track, I am seeing about 300 deg after about 15 minutes of hard running, I would think the lt1 is really getting up there as well.

220-230deg last weekend (cool weather). Use a big 34 row Mocal and pieced it together myself.

Still seing 300deg, Keith? yikes!

In my '98 OT Trans AM and with the LG Motorsports Super-Cool radiator, I was seeing oil temps in the 250-260 range as measured in the pan.

In my 96 CMC Trans AM with no oil cooler, I see 300*+ as measured in he pan.

...yeah...it must be in the 250's....it has been a while....I know that it was 300 with the oil cooler in front of the rad.....and I was surprised how much it went down by moving the cooler....only way to tell for sure is in a few weeks!

Yes I am still seeing these temperatures. Note that the sensor is in the pan and I confirmed it on a number of occasions with a pyrometer.

I am thinking of seeing if the cooler is having some sort of restricted flow at some point.
