An Open Letter of Thanks to Sam Strano Options

Today I called Strano Parts for some Koni's, T2-R, his front bar, and a few other parts, but I had a few questions first. Sam Sr answered the phone and took my information and then a little later in the afternoon Sam Jr called me back. I had a list of questions about the shocks and their set-up. Sam was more than willing to answer all my questions, and he even gave me more information that I didn't even know to ask about while we were on the phone. We must have talked for about an hour and he was not in any rush to finish our conversation.

When I asked Sam about some parts he didn't carry, he was kind enough to recommend a vendor to me, which I called right after I got of the phone.

Sam I'd like to say thank you for working with me today and thank you for the offer to follow up with me once I receive the parts. I will defiantly take you up on that. It was very refreshing to work with someone who is just as interested in my success as I am.

if only we could hear of more stories like that about other vendors. There's only one other I can think of, and they are sponsors of this board.

Ditto on Sam.

I've spoken with him a few times and purchased what I could from him. He even told me where I could get it cheaper but I bought from him anyway. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Patronize those sponsors kiddies..especially the ones who help us with sponsorship AND knowledge!

I need to get my taxes done so I can call Sam. I think he knows what I'm going to order already. Can't tell you how many times I've talked to Sam for a long time on the phone. Plus he faxed me a thick packet of stuff I wouldn't otherwise have access to.

I'll hop in here too. I think I spent 2 hours on the phone with Sam the first time I called him a few years ago. No salesperson has ever told me 'don't bother with xxx' when I was ready to fork over the cash.
He's honest, and even better, knows what he is talking about ;-)
