I just got this note from Nelson Ledges and though I would share:

The area weather for this Saturday, March 11 is calling for: Occasional showers possible. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 50s. If this report hold out there will be a FunDay on March 11. But the weather isn't the only factor; I will need at least 10 people R.S.V.Ping in order to open the gates. So let me know as soon as possible if you would like to participate.

All the particulars are the same; gates open at 8am, Driver's Meeting at 9:45, Track time is 10 - 4. The cost is still $120/per driver + $5 for everyone else.

Also, please be aware that the track is still in winter mode so there is no running water and the main restrooms are closed. Port-a-johns will be available.

If anyone is interested email Kerrielane@aol.com to R.S.V.P.

I might go if I get my shocks in this week, but not sure yet. So if you are in the Ohio area and suffering from Race Cabin fever here is your chance.

I though that was what set appart Road Racers from most everyone else. We're not affraid of a little weather (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) . But I'll be keeping my eyes on the forecast come mid-week. Last time I was there the forecast was a little iffy It turned out to be a beautiful day, It rained on the drive home. He who checks the weather and stays away, lives to drive another day. My street/wet tires are not that good these days and neither am I..... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Here is the latest info I got today on an email.

Just to let those of you who are interested the track will be open this Saturday. But please be aware it you do participate, there will be no Corner Workers or ambulance on site for this event. Most of the people who are going to participate are using the day to shake down their cars in preparation for the coming season. Now that's not to say that you can't run somewhat near speed but please be safe about it.

I was thinking of going to fine tune the new shocks. But it is looking less likely.
