I was out at Buttonwillow this weekend with some friends. As I was meandering towards the American Iron guys' pit area with my friend Joel's sweet Nikon I noticed an interesting (and not terribly unexpected) decal on a Chevy S10.

I can swear that looks like a 98 sonoma truck! And I think that guy was R/R this truck (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

But I also heard that he wasn't the slowest guy on track (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

Never heard of the guy, however, he always had a big, silly grin on his face! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I was taking pictures at turn one and a guy sitting behind me on the stands made the comment, "That guy sure is abusing that truck."

I have a number of pictures of John and Julie on track, but I have the daunting task in front of me of managing the 500 or so pictures that I took.
