Usually things of that size are real expensive with UPS, anything over 62" rings up real quick, you'd be better off puttin it on a pallet and sending it truck frieght, cheap and just as fast as UPS ground....

I was acctually cosidering trading wheels with you, till I read the 2007 TT rules. We are getting screwed on the tire sizes. My 275 v710's are now worth 20 points vs. the 9 points last year. Your 315's are worth 32 points!
So you are running AI next year?

I've been shipping large bulky stuff like rollbars and body parts via Greyhound:
http://www.shipgreyhound.com/
Rates are lower than UPS/FedEx, service is fast, but the terminal dropoff/pickup can be a problem, esp in a big city.

They are worth 29 points. You are going to end up in "A" anyway with your power to weight!

I'm hoping to run AI (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I did a quickie quote to Billings MT and it was $77 for the rollbar.

I will get it ready to ship and take it down to the Greyhound station in the mourning to see if they will take it. Than we'll do the details.

That sounds good to me.

When you go to the greyhound see if they have some form of tracking/confirmation.

I need a confirmation that it was shipped to know when it arrives so I can make the arrangements to drive across the border to pick it up.

Will wait for your PM for payment details.

Thanks for going to all this hassle for me I really appreciated it!

I'm guessing the 17 x 11's are 315's? Any pics? Can anyone verify whether or not I can fit these in the front on a thirdgen (I relize spacers will be necessary). I'm moving from F-stock to ESP and I need a set of wide R-compounds.

I don't think they are going to fit. The stock 16's will rub on the fender liners and these are wider. So, if you can bolt them on, I doubt you'll be able to turn the wheels. And, the rears would need a "huge" spacer to not hit the inner fender wells.

Like TB has said, I don't think they will fit. But here are pics of the wheels for others.

And here I thought you were going to lower the price on the rollbar, heh!

Hope you had a good X-mas!

Looking for an update.

Just wondering if the greyhound is still an option for our deal?

Post here, PM or e-mail is fine

Picked up the roll bar this past weekend.

It was a very scary drive over the pass as Montana does not have much of a budget for road snow removal.

The bar itself was perfect and the packaging was top notch as it kept the bar dry even in the severe snow storm I was in.

Thanks for going through all the hassle for me John!
