Heres the sad tale of a car that just can't seem to find a home...My friend painted the car, built the engine and transmission while living on campus. He had no way to get the car to back his home 2 hours away, as it needs a couple little things. So I saved the car from being towed away, and the only place to store it I had is now being taken away due to a divorce(not mine). So...

Negatives

*Brake line. A section of brake line going to the rear 2-3 feet long will need to be replaced.

*Exhaust. Was in terrible shape when the motor and tranny were pulled so it was removed. Only the manifolds remain.

*Wiring & Vacuum lines. The underhood sensor wiring and the like need sorted and plugged back in, and some (most) of the vacuum lines need rerouted and/or replaced. As only the essentials were reconnected to limp the car to the dorms.

*Interior. Needs cleaned up and the door panels put back on.

*Title. The friend who I got the car from has apparently lost or missed the title sometime over the last 5 moves hes been through. This may be a major hinderence(?) for some, but input here would also be nice.

Positives

* 3.8L V6 just rebuilt. Less than 20 miles on it, probably less than 10, and possibly less than 5. Only driven from the dorm to the shop and back and around the parking lot.

* 3-speed automatic. Same stories as above. Ultra mega low miles on the rebuild.

* Paint. Painted last year. This will be its first winter outside since the paint job. The color is 2000 or newer corvette black, i'm unsure of the exact year code, but it has a subtle metallic flake. Likely 2003+ as the school likes to use recent OEM paint code colors.

Possible trades.

- An awd or 4x4. Ideally a truck or SUV would be most practical.
- F-Body parts.
*9" or 12 bolt rear for 3rd or 4th gen car.
*t-56 trans swap
*anything else you think i may be interested in
- Any really solid car that I could put on the road without much real work, as i wont have storage space and it would have to be tagged and road worthy.
*Classics both import and domestic...The odder the more likely I have interest in them.

Also if you don't have anything to trade but appreciate these cars and can give me an approximate value you on what I should ask for it if push comes to shove and someone starts offering cash.

Thanks. And the car is located in Cumberland, Maryland. Email me at blythp <@> gmail <dot> com
