I don't want to spend the 200+ to buy the kit. Anyone know of a place that sales part like the rubber 90* and 45*? the tubing and clamps shouldn't be a problem.

Seems promising, but would 2.75 ID tubing be large enough to flow for a head/cam LS1?

The LT1 intake plumbing is 3.5" - I'd be surprised if the LS1 was smaller.

I don't blame on you- not worth to spend $200 for little thing. I had order the air hose thru Hose Tech. and built one for my Cobalt Cold Air Filter...save my $$$ lot ..
So I can afford (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I bought rubber elbows from these people before, when I was setting up a centrifugal blower on the v6. They carry 3", 3.5", and 4" parts.

This place has high dollar silicone elbows. If you search for their name + discount, you can find some 10-15% discount codes floating around the net.

Thanks guys. I found all the parts I need to make the CAI. I think that I plan to get a single piece of 3.5" tubing to go from the MAF to the air filter. It will be mandrel bent (90*) to make the turn into the filter. Should be cool once I get it finished.
