I'm kicking around the idea of selling my car and buying a turn key American Iron car. I'm currently in the middle of my build but its taking longer than expected. Everything listed has maybe 70-100 street miles and 1 track day on it. I was thinking around $3.5k for this???:

The motor let go at my last track event. The engine is still in the car. This is what the build consisted of:
Canton RR Oil Pan
PCM LT1 OBD I 94 6 Speed
Lloyd Elliott Cam (218/222 510/510 111lsa)
LT4 Timing Chain
Crankshaft Gear
Camshaft Gear
Engine rear main seal
Engine Front Cover Seal and Crankshaft Seal (front crank seal)
Trickflow Pushrods
Proform Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms
Melling HV Oil Pump
Canton RR Oil Pan Pickup
Heavy-Duty Intermediate Driveshafts (Oil Pump)
Fel-Pro Intake Manifold Gaskets
Fel-Pro Conversion Set Gaskets
Fel-Pro Exhaust Manifold Gaskets
Mr. Gasket Header Bolts
93-94 LT1 MSD Distributor Cap & Rotor
MSD plug wires, BLACK
NGK TR-55 V power plugs (8 req'd))
Moroso Solid Motor Mounts
Gm Opti-Spark
Lokar Engine Dipstick
Spark Plug Wire Boots Heat Shields
PS Reservoir
Sweet Power Steering Pump
Proform Cheverolet Tall Valve Covers

Exhaust
Dynatech Long Tube Headers
3" Exhaust tubing
Boom Tube
Flowmaster Race muffler x2

Instrumentation
Auto Meter - Oil Pressure
Auto Meter - Oil Temperature
Auto Meter - Water Temperature

Transmission - Pops out of second gear, however it is the smoothest shifting T56 I've ever driven. ( I think it has a bent shift fork)
93-97 LT1 GM Master & Slave Cylinder -
McLeod Single Clutch Disc, LT4 PP from GM dealer w/ LT4 TOB
Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel
Hurts Pro Billet shifter

Suspension -
UMI Road Racing K-Member
UMI Performance Tubular Adjustable Lower Front A-Arms
4th Gen Rag Joint Eliminator
Global West Suspension Del-a-lum Control Arm Bushings
Strano Hollow Sway Bars

Rear End
Ratech Complete Installation Kit, TA Diff Cover
Aluminum Driveshaft
Detroit Truetrac
3.73 Gear

Interior/Saftey
HVAC Delete Plate
Hurst Shifter Ball
MOMO Steering Wheel (330mm)
Bolt-in Quick Release
Momo to Grant hub adapter/1" spacer

Brakes
LS1 Brake Calipers w/ HT10s front and rear

The interior is completely stripped and ready for a cage to go in.

Feel free to pm me if you have any interest. I will be on my honeymoon next week but will respond as soon as I get back.

Haha, I've followed your build.... you need to race that thing man!! I've got my eye on Tommy Schlender's AI car. It would be my wedding present from my Fiance.... she just told me to get rid of this one first.

Nice! Mine is running and just needs a windshield (I wanted to paint it first). I suspect it's never going to see a track again while I own it (which is why I needs to find a good home). I drove it on a trailer and stuffed it in storage for now. Glad to hear you're already working on a plan and congrats on the wedding! (And a fiance who will buy you a race car? Does she have a sister...I have a single friend who could use a girl like that... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ).

Thats unfortunate, you've put a lot of hard work and $$$ into her. Hopefully you'll find a good home for her very soon.

Thanks man, I feel very lucky. I get that question pretty often... lol. Unfortunately, she doesn't... sorry man.

Here's another pic of the car (T3 @ Road Atlanta):

Sorry you are selling her. Finally get to see the car that holds a lot of my old parts! At least THOSE parts will live to see another day! HEHE.

Good luck with the sale. It is ALWAYS cheaper/easier to find a good, well built car, buy it and sort it out....that is MY plan when the vision returns and the body heals! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif)

I am glad to hear that you are okay after that wreck Randy! I agree it is much cheaper to find a well built car. As mentioned earlier... I've got my eye on one.... just have to work out the details now.

Between mine and wstukas's car your old parts are still alive. Your kmember is on wstukas's car which is currently leading the SE American Iron points!
