The more I learn about the 5th gen, the less interested I become.
Did you notice the length of the front sway endlinks/balljoints and how thin they are. I bet more robust endlinks will be necessary if the sway bar diameter is upgraded. To me the rear seems overly complicated, with two many different pivot points, and I also notice that there is a vertical bushing in one of the upper mounts, gee that's just great! However I will reserve final judgement only because I know that GM was supposed to have benchmarked the BMW 3 series rear and the Camaro's platform is identical to the current G8, which is so far, getting great reviews vs. the 3 series. However, I won't be the first person to buy one no matter how good the reviews. Someone else can be the Guinea pig (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) |
