Hey guys , Been reading on this site for quite some time and I am on my third fbody and this summer I am going to start doing some Novice course at places local to me.Im in college so itll take me a few weeks at a time to save up the 300-400 fees for the weekends but I hope to be able to go a few times. I live right down the road ( 5 min ) to The Autobahn country club in Joliet Il and Rt 66 dragway.

And Ill tell you what this site has already saved me on some stupid decisions for previous cars on lowering springs brakes and what not.

My current car is a 1996 Z28 , Has LG Coil Overs , C5 Brakes up front. ( I have c5 rears though reading today its not worth my while to put them on lol ) Full suspension Tq arm sway bars. And I am trading in a few weeks a buddy for front tubular control arms. Not sure if the guy I bought the car off of was a active member or not though I know he bought the coil overs off someone on here.

Anyways just saying thanks for the great site and wealth of information everyone has!

Little bout me , Im 21 . Currently work for Bosch ( Previously Jc Whitney ) and I am going to Southern Il University for Automotive Engineering. ( Nations #1 auto program =) I started out with a thirdgen I bout in High school after building a turbo honda and I was hooked. From the thirdgen I moved on to a bolt on hotcam car and now I have the full suspension/9inch 847 cam car.

Youll be seeing me asking questions about coil overs in the future. I got about 200 pounds on the guy I bought the car from and the car pulls to the left so Idk if I can adjust them or what. He said that there are 600lbs on the driver side and 650' on the pass side.
