Awesome!
It has been a long time since I saw the canyon. Unbelievable site ... can't imagine it from the air.

I've never done a heli tour, but we have done a hot air balloon ride just recently. That's cool, too, albeit a bit slower and quieter. I highly recommend those, too. The pilot of the balloon says they've flown Palo Duro Canyon. I an imagine coming up out of the canyon in a balloon, or flying over the edge and into the canyon. I equate it with skin diving in the air. Very quiet and you are constantly adjusting your altitude (buoyancy) with the burners, just like adding or removing air from your BC under water.

Several years ago, I went with my Father to one of the Society of Experimental Test Pilot's convention (he was an Air Force test pilot). They had a Hughes test pilot there, who was giving rides in one of their Hughes 500 helicopters. The guy was very talented, and really knew how to wring the most of the performance out of that little bird. It is a flight I remember fondly.

I still find it hard to believe that someone as hot as she is fell for someone who voluntarily wears shoes that look like that ... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
