Hi guys-

My brother is selling his 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. We originally bought this car with intentions to turn it into a CMC racer, but we have changed directions towards motorcycle racing.

We bought the car in Texas 6 years ago. The car was autocrossed with the SCCA and Equipe Rapide for one season in F-Stock. This car is located in Newport Beach, CA. It was last registered in Texas.

Details:

1995 Pontiac Trans Am
LT1 motor w/ T56 Transmission
Black exterior/Gray interior
Koni Sport Single Adjustable Dampers
Strano 35MM Front Sway Bar
Prothane Sway Bary End Links
K&N Air Filter
Exhaust dump in front of rear axle w/ removable cap
~170,000 miles

The Good:
This car has been my brother's daily driver for the last 6 years and it is still good for daily useage.
AC works
Radio works- needs antenna

The Bad:
Interior is in bad shape- typical f-body problems
Paint has some bad patches where the clear coat is completely deteriorated- no exposed metal though
Car will not pass a SMOG test due to worn out catalytic converters
Window motors are worn out- they work, but need help

If you are interested, please send me a private message. You can send me your phone number, or I will forward my number to you.

Hey guys-

Some of you may know that I am a bass player in a band. My band's name is 'On The Double'. While cleaning up and preparing for a move, I came across several hundred CD's of our latest album, 'Six Years later'. I don't really need several boxes of my own CD, so if anybody here would like a free OTD: Six Years Later CD, send me a private message with a mailing address, and I will put one (or two) in the mail for you.

If you want to hear us first, you can take a listen at www.myspace.com/onthedouble.

Thanks-

All addresses will only be used for mailing this album to you. Afterwards, all information will be destroyed or deleted. Work addresses and P.O. boxes are great if you want to protect your home address.

It looks like I will be heading to California toward the end of this year. I have been planning to rebuild my IROC for street use, but now I am wondering about restrictions in California.

Does anybody know the dos and don'ts for modifying cars in California?

I am guessing that there are heavy restrictions from the intake manifold back to the tail pipe.

The car:
1989 IROC
L98 350cid (305 originally)
T5 Transmission
Holley Stealth Ram Intake
Hooker Super Comp Headers - full length
and other typical ESP modifications to the suspension and brakes

thanks for any advice-
