What are modded ls1's selling for. It would be complete intake to pan. MTI heads and cam, ls6 intake, stock bottom end.

Do you have a spare engine? Where did this one come from? I'm not saying I'd swap my car over, but I might consider it.

Modded motors don't sell for any more than stockers and for the most part the more radically modded the less you get for a complete motor. There is a broad and somewhat accurate stigma to mods and the abuse a vehicle or engine has taken. Simple truth is that no one builds them to be nice and cruise at the speed limit to the grocery store.

That being said, I can get local LS1's with a trans for 3-5k depending on trans and mileage.

Thanks Tim. It has 92k and i am probably going to stick with the 6 Speed. Kevin - this is the motor in my car. Im possibly selling it depending on what i get out of it to help pay for a build. I was going to put it in my truck but i don't want to destroy the drivetrain.

You're usually better parting it.. heads & cam, then the short block, then the intake..

Thanks. I was told i should be able to get 3k out of just the motor. If i cant get close to that then i will probably just say screw it and keep it.
