I'm driving over with a few guys from the Delta region (no other F-bods, though). Who am I going to see there? Specifically, anyone I'll be losing to . . . I mean, "competing against" . . . in ESP?

I'll be there... but I think I'll be in either DSP or SM, driving with Brian Matteucci. If Ramey drives it in DSP, then I'll be in SM...

I'm contemplating on going. Maybe in AStock if I can get a proper set of rims & tires for a '96 LT4. If not I may have to brush off the Z28 and run FS but I'd rather not since there is virtually no one left around here that runs FS and I need to work out some garage time and fix some things. Worst case? I say to heck w/ it and get waxed in CP w/ the 'bird.

I don't think I've ever posted here before. But in any case, I'll be there with Gary Hood, my co-driver, pulling up the 3rd-gen support in FS.

Results are up : http://www.scca.org/_Filelibrary/File/solo...houston-sun.pdf

Congrats to all who were there! I did better than I anticipated, though I would have much rather have been in an F-body (well, at least an FS or ESP one!). (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Congrats to you, Karen. It was a pleasure to meet face-to-face!

I wish I/you would have known - you could have warmed up my tires . . . I mean, "co-driven my car" . . . for the weekend. But, it doesn't appear that being in a different car hurt you much! (Besides, if you would have co-driven, we may have found the "duct tape and airbox seal against the MAF screen" problem the day before!)

Also, big congratulations to Madarash! That guy is friggin' amazing with what he can do with that car. A quick synopsis of the results of ESP:

1) Madarash was between 2 and 3 seconds ahead of 2nd place all weekend long (ended up 6 seconds ahead when both days were added).
2) The next 4 positions were all within 1.5 seconds of each other after the weekend.

Conclusion? He clearly outclassed the rest of the class. If this is what it's like running against Sam and the like - I aint got a PRAYER at Nationals!! But, I had fun, and got a trophy - so I'm happy!!

It was quite a weekend! My car broke before Sunday runs, so I ended up driving three different cars: my B4C 3rd gen, an 05 GTO, and another B4C 3rd gen. I was lucky to get second place in FS. The weather was incredible, the event and the course were good, and my fellow F Stockers were very understanding and accomodating of all my "car slutting" shinanigans (Dan Pedroza's characterization, not mine!). Chad Kuboviak gets lots of props for letting me co-drive his 3rd-gen. My work schedule prevents me from going to Atlanta for either weekend. Perhaps I'll see you all at Topeka - you never know. If not, then I hope to be around next year.

Hey deerhunter, check the "joined" date! I've been here for half a year. I just haven't been contributing. Okay, I'm still a slacker...
