I came home from work yesterday and flipped on the TV to find "Ultimate Factories 2010 Camaro SS" on the Discovery Channel. I've seen the U.F episodes with the C6 Corvette, Ferrari, and the BMW Z4, but I never knew they did one on the new Camaro. I only caught the last 20 min so I'll be looking for it to replay soon.
Just thought I'd let you guys know it's out there. I laughed outloud when the narrator talked about lowering the "3,000 lb body" onto the chassis. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) This post has been edited by z28jeff: Oct 23 2009, 03:34 PM |

I watched it, and yeah there were a lot of false statements made by the narrator. It was pretty cool to see the way they make it, though. Some of the QC technology is amazing, but they also check for leaks by putting it in a chamber and hosing it down from every angle with high pressure water jets while someone is inside. Nothing high-tech about that, and don't believe anyone who tells you their 2010 camaro has never seen rain. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)
