Yepp.. Thats right.. A C5R for sale on e-bay.. I found it through a different message board, and figured some of you guys may want to see this.

If one of you buys it though, I expect my finders fee to be a hot lap or 2 in it... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Here are some pics of the car when it was delivered to a local Corvette shop. My buddy LJ was there and took these pics, chatted with the Pratt & Miller techs that were there showing how to start it. You have to first pump hot coolant thru the motor to get it up to some temperature before starting it.

Still looking forward to building one of these myself.

Well if anybody is interested in my house, camaro, and silverado maybe I can buy it! Then again, I'm still not sure that would be enough!

Wow! This is a collector car now.

You said it. Everything I need to know is this:

Current bid: $175,600, Reserve NOT met.

I bet Alan can build a reasonable facsimile for much less.

I recently saw the C6R at the GM Tech center - I wish I could have took pictures (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) I spent 15 minutes drooling over it then my co-workers had to drag me a way. Thanks for the pictures here.

Love it. Maybe my memory is gone, but thought the C5R had the exhaust out in front of back tire a little behind the door. And the C6R had it come out mid-door. Memory is gone because pics tell it all. Oh, BTW, I want this for Christmas.

Drool.

Car number 1 is either significantly detuned, or the HP (375) is a misprint....

edit: I read the rest of the posts...it is detuned
