Our oil cooler kit for the LS1 F-Body is good to go!

(IMG:http://www.improvedracing.com/images/products/EGM-600_1_lg.jpg)

Here's the link with more info: http://www.improvedracing.com/oil-cooler-k...-kit-p-560.html

The kit will be available with our thermostatic adapter (EGM-112 or the high-temp EGM-113) or our non-thermostatic adapter (EGM-106).

We would like to get an idea for how many we should build for the first batch, so we have started taking pre-orders. Anyone who pre-orders will get a $20 discount and we will not charge your card until your order ships. If you're interested in purchasing one, please place a pre-order. If we don't get enough interest we may not produce this kit.

We will start building the kits late this month or once we have 10 pre-orders, whichever comes first. We just need to have the brackets and custom lines made and take photos for the instruction manual.

Nice work guys. I was just looking at putting parts together to make my own kit from your site today and now this shows up... well I'll be. Sounds like it's meant to be. I'll be submitting my pre-order tomorrow!

Guys, if you're interested please pre-order. We need to get more pre-orders for this kit to make it to production. Thanks!

So I guess this didn't work out? I couldn't find it on your site so there must have not been enough demand

I e-mailed Michael about this in mid-February, and he replied with:

---

There wasn't enough interest to bring it to production. It seemed 4th gen guys were not willing to pay the cost.

We can basically still sell you the kit, but we don't have the mounting brackets. We can sell you everything else as configured in the original kit.

Yes, it mounted in the side inlet where the fog light is located and required removing the fog light.

Thanks for the reply. I added up some parts and it was around 5-600 for an hoses, basic cooler, and thermo adapter plus making my own brackets so that's probably what I'll do, but I need to make sure my sender isn't getting header heat, didn't think to put a shield or wrap it.

I don't really like the fog light location, I tried brake ducts there and didn't seem like it got enough air. I added scoops to the deflector on bottom and it was much better but I still want frame rail duct so they don't rub on the wheels. Anyways I want to try in front or behind the radiator
