I am selling a practically brand new setup (was used for 40 minutes at Road Atlanta before the car was totaled--and no I wasn't driving lol). This is the race Bilsteins, adjustable coil overs, 1000# front springs and 400# rear springs. It was setup to run the UE lowering PHB brackets, but I am not sure if I can get the ones I have back off without damaging the brackets or the rear end. This setup was $2K without the drop brackets or Afco spring locators ($70 extra, but included). I will sell everything pictured for $1250 shipped. Thanks SOLD

Those are nice. Bilstein talked me out of them for primarily street duty though (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) What size are the rear springs, 5x8?

Same as my setup. If you want infinite adjustability with Bilstein proven tech this is a great deal.

Jim is correct for street, I would not recommend. It is nice to be able to raise and lower the entire car in about 15-20 minutes however.

And if it matters to you, they look REALLY cool.

I don't want to clog up this sale thread, but why are these shocks not recommended for street duty?

Springs would cause some loose teeth I would think.

Only on Michigan roads.... 1MeanZ and I drove to St. Louis and back with 400 rears and still have my teeth (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I run 300 in the rear due to the LPHB and it's certainly lively on rough pavement. I don't recall the specifics the Bilstein tech gave me, but in general I think it had to do with how frequently the shocks might need to be rebuilt on my daily driver. If it wasn't for that conversation I'd be all over these.

Good to know, I wasn't concerned so much with spring rates but more so that the shocks themselves aren't as durable as I would like. My car is by no means a DD, but I do put a 2 -3 thousand street miles on it every year.

Would the shocks need to be revalved to work properly with softer springs? Something closer to 6-700F and 2-300R.

I would say yes, esp since you desire a softer ride.

Are those front shocks the same ones that LG used in his coilover package back when he offered it for sale??

They are totally non-adjustable as far as rebound and compression goes, correct?

They are non adjustable Bilsteins (race version), but I am not sure if they are the same as LG offered.
