I have a beautiful old (I think it's from about 1971, but I'm not absolutely sure of that) S&W Model 41 (22LR) pistol with the cocking indicator on the back. The cocking indicator was one of the first options dropped when S&W decided to try to trim costs on these pistols. They are pretty much hand fitted and the slide feels like it's running on ball bearings. I also have 12 magazines for it. This pistol doesn't have a very high round count through it, but I used to have another one that I shot in competition and when I sold it, I kept the mags. So I have ten 12 round mags and two 10 round mags (the 10 round mags are still unused and sealed in the factory box).

Pics on request. Verify that this item complies with all local laws. Must be transferred through a dealer. If you're unsure, please check with a local dealer to verify this item is legal in your area. I know the 12 round mags can't go to CO, NJ and a few others. I am not able to do the CA DOJ paperwork sine I'm not a dealer.

$1550 plus freight

If you aren't on smith-wessonforum.com, I'd recommend joining. Their for sale forum seems to be pretty popular and there are lots of medium to high end older S&W's (like over $1000) that seem to sell. I'd be interested, but I already have two model 41's (one with and one without the cocking indicator). Also, what length barrel? I know there were at least two different lengths.

This is a 5.5" barrel. My first one had the 5.5" and the 7". But those parts are long gone.

I haven't been over to that forum in a long time. I should wander back over there. I don't have to sell any of this stuff and I LOVE model 41 pistols, but I haven't shot this in a long time. I built an S&W Victory 22 for competition (Vortex red dot, Volquartsen carbon fiber barrel, etc) and that's what we tend to use for matches when we're shooting 22 these days.
