I've finally decided to list it for sale. I'd like to see it go to a good home. I've had a lot of fun with this car, but this year I've put about 40 miles on it and I just don't have time to drive it these days.

This car is a rust free, garage kept 2002 Z28. It has 2-3 small door dings on the back fenders that I never got time to take care of (I was going to have paintless dent removal do them and never got to it). This car has a stack of receipts and the previous owner had their GM dealer install a new factory crate motor at 42k miles. The car currently has about 65k on it. I had clutch hydraulic issues and replaced all the hydraulics and did the full "stage 2" upgrade to the transmission. It has billet keys in all gears, steel shift forks, all new blocker rings and the 1/2 and 3/4 synchros were replaced with OEM tremec parts. The radiator has been upgraded with a Dewitts and new hoses. I have new Key Audio speakers in the boxes and a second set of stock SS wheels. The car has Stoptech front brakes with floating rotors (4 piston brakes). The top is in excellent (like new) condition and the interior is in very good to great condition showing just a little bit of seat wear and the steering column isn't loose.

The entire list of parts is:

UMI Swaybars
UMI Aluminum sway bar mounts
UMI/strano Shocks/springs (coil overs)
B&M Ripper shifter
Hurst Shift knob
10 bolt girdle
10 spoke wheels professionally refinished in charcoal gray by "wheel medic"
SLP "lid"
Stoptech pads (F&R)
SLP TCS disable module
Jegs skip shift delete
UMI Poly/Rotojoint LCA's
Ram adjustable master cylinder
Ram slave and throw out bearing
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Centerforce dual friction clutch
Stage 2 transmission upgrade
Hawks clutch reservoir
Dewitt's 2 core aluminum radiator
C&R Power Steering cooler (oil to water)
OEM heater hoses
heater hose to throttle body
radiator hoses
Holley Water pump
Stoptech Brake Kit
Stoptech rear rotors (slotted to match the front kit)
Hooker cat back
ATI Balancer (10% under drive)
10 spoke wheels (second set)
ARP Wheel Studs
Optima Red Top (less than a year old and maintained on a battery tender)

I have about $25k in this car and the parts. Asking $17,500.

There's a whole build thread on it here if you haven't seen it.

I bought this and bolted it onto the car, decided I wasn't sure about ground clearance and pulled it right back off. It's like new and has never been run. I don't have the box so I don't really want to ship this one. Located on the west side of Columbus, OH.

$175 OBO

I have a set of Pagid "Orange" brake pads for the Stoptech ST40 caliper (D609 pad). They were run very little and then I drove them on the street for a couple days before swapping them out for something more street friendly. These used to be over $400, they look to be a little under $300 now. I can mic them, but these are virtually full thickness (like 92% or more left).

$200 plus freight

If you love F-bodies and drag racing, autocross or road courses....go do this event. I've been a few times and you can't find a better group of gearheads and friends to help you play with cars.

It's in Memphis and the info is on the event page.

Are there any computer programmers or message board guys in the house? Iím getting notifications from the hosting provider saying they are seeing potentially malicious script files on the server. They appear to be standard board files. I donít know if they have moved away from the design of this board, or if there are other issues. However, they are threatening to shut the board down for ďsafetyĒ.

I checked with IPS about getting the latest update done (it used to cost like $25 and they would do the update). They advised me that Iíd have to upgrade to a version in the 3.x.x range and then upgrade to the new ďcommunityĒ version. The license is $200 and the labor is $625. I donít believe Iím good enough to do this upgrade without possibly losing the database. I also donít want the board shut down. So, Iím looking for options.

One other option would be to change to different software. I discussed that ten years ago but I donít know if thereís anything out there that will migrate from this old version of the software and it has to be stable and worth using.

So, Iím open to ideas (or possibly donations).

Any thoughts?

I've had a lot of people ask how to donate a few dollars to keep the site up and running.

First, this is absolutely not necessary and I truly mean that.

However, for those who truly wish to help out...I really appreciate it. Paypal is the best option and you can paypal me at:

trackbird (at) gmail dot com (obviously the (at) is an @ and the "dot" is a .)

Again, it's truly not required, but I do appreciate those who wish to help out if you truly wish to do so.
