Like the title says, I have a set of track brackets that I bought years ago but never used. Circumstances have changed and the f-body is gone so I have no use. All hardware and instructions included, only ever really out of the box to look them over when I first got them.

Asking $100 obo. Will be shipped in USPS medium flat rate box ($14.00 in US)

Just got a good laugh watching the FX Network's Grand Am Special. They are just doing like a general public kind of coverage of the Roar Before the 24.

They had the communications for the Stevenson Racing team that is campaigning the new Camaro this year (previously ran GXP) They have the car on screen and then you hear "This may be a silly question, but how the hell do you see out of the back of this thing?"

I know what it is like to try to look out of the back of the jungle gym that these roll bar systems have become, but I don't think I have ever actually heard anyone ask about it. The good news is they will have a rear view camera set up in the car in time for the race.

Watching "Love the Beast" on Speed channel got me thinking about it again, usually the idea doesn't pop into my head until mid summer when it is way too late to prepare or participate.

Anyone interested in trying to make a run at it? I have experience behind the wheel and navigating in TSD rally's, so I feel comfortable in either seat.

Interest? Ideas? Questions?

The NJFBOA is working with MVP Track Time to put together a lapping day on the Lightning Circuit at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

We are looking to spending Monday, June 15th on the track. Check out the details of what we are working on here>>> http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=39435

We are working on several things to lower the cost and add to the fun of the day. Although this is being run by an F-body club, we will be opening registration to all NJFBOA members no matter what they drive as well as reaching outside of the club membership to fill slots. This is shaping up to be a great event. I hope to see some of you out there.

There is a movement to get a series going at the Road Course at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park (aka Englishtown Dragway) that is based on the 24 Hours of Lemons concept. There is not a lot of promotion going yet, but a few of us are trying to get the ball rolling.

The first race is a 2hr tentatively slated for January 24th, just enough time to slap together the $500 piece that the rules allow and head to the track to play.

Link to rules: Winter series rules

There are a few teams being put together by members of the NJFBOA, including one looking for some members still. Check out the Road Racing/Autocross forum on www.NJFBOA.org to see more about those.

This is a simple series, based on fun. If you have a few hundred bucks or a beater laying around, this is your chance to have some fun this winter.
