I am having the motor rebuilt and wanted to install the canton rr pan. My builder spoke with canton and was told that the rr pan wouldn't fit a fbody with the stock cross member and that the only pan that would fit is the drag/street model.
Is this correct? If so is it worth it to upgrade to the drag/street model?
