I bought this Racer's diff from Sam in October of 2011 and used it for the 2012 autocross season. Then I found a used T2R from the 'good' years and switched to that in 2013. Comparing the 2 diffs (on 315s with 1000/225 springs and factory big 3rd gen sway bars) there wasn't much of a difference except in the tightest of corners where you have to really need to lock the rear tires together. In all other situations I couldn't tell a difference. I had no issues with it the little I drove it on the street, which was always in the dry weather.

Figure about 12 events for the year and just a few street miles since I wound up trailering the car most of the time. It has been sitting around ever since 'just in case' I needed it again. So very little wear on it, maybe someone else can chime in on the exchange program. I didn't use the friction modifier that came with it, and it is included. Also included are carrier bearings with one race marked as the ring gear side.

Asking $400 plus shipping from North Jersey, paypal preferred. Please include your zip code for a shipping price.

Did your source for the 'good' T2R happen to have any others laying around?? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Are we SURE that ALL of the current ones HAVE TO have the case cracking problems of the recent past?

Nope, he has no others. I almost had to pry it out of his hands!

The date stamped on it must be within 4 years to use the DREX program. I think my last exchange cost me $175 plus shipping one way.

The date code is 088 M03 11. Which, if you use the military convention for months M is December. If you use the standard alphabet M is the 13th letter and obviously there is no 13th month! (The military skips I since when stamped it could look like a 1 or lower case L).

So you can get this season out of it then send it off for a new one... so price is now best offer!
