Two complete doors. Blue. $150 for both $75 each. That's what I'm asking so feel free to lowball IF you can pick up immediately (willing to let go cheap) ... they're complete as far as I know with power/glass/etc. one side mirror is missing. Prefer not to ship. located in Baltimore, MD.

Things haven't gone as planned (as in getting it perfect to sell) and I need to sell the car is it sits.
Engine was just put together recently with new gaskets/bolts and driving it home today, the tranny went out ... I need it gone ... asking $3500 obo ... car is located in Baltimore, MD.

LS1 conversion. '99 block (110K), everything else '98 inc. fuel system/lines.
'98 Engine harness modified to plug-n-play with LT1 body harness
LS1 front brakes
Mid-length headers (mutant y-pipe with cats has been welded to the headers)
Catback from a '01 WS6 (in awesome condition ... lol)
New front bumper cover and paint on it/fenders
Body is straight and has no major flaws (dents/scratches/rust) that can't be fixed up with a simple paint job
Racetronics in tank pump and modified hotwire harness
Hotchkis LCA's
Chameleon head Unit, 300Watt amp and Kenwood 12" Sub.
Line lock

Needs/bad:
Trans. is bad, no 3rd or 4th, drives fine up to 2nd, then just revs.
May need header gaskets
Water pump squeaks
A/C was never installed with the swap
Dash pad is cracked
A few Misc. holes where gauges used to be
Bad brake booster (will include a take off unit, just needs to be put on)
Needs alignment and maybe brake pads to pass inspection

I've seen a couple early 90's Impreza's going for $1-2K and was wondering if getting one like that and playing around in a stock class would be a good idea. Ofcourse, stuff like suspension components need to be replaced with stock replacement parts, but I'm figuring it'll be cheap and fun ... what ya'll think?

So f'n douche bag at work got a '07 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon, and now thinks he's the holy grail of motoring. He says AWD cars (like his WRX, which ofcourse is what god designed himself and put on the dirt road) isn't supposed to be driven on anything else but rallies (just like Ferrari's as supposed to be on the track and not on the road) and cannot be setup for the track and people need to stay off the gas to drive it around an asphalt track and that RWD is where it's at for anything performance oriented 'cos you can bring the ass end around at will. I'm not disagreeing with the RWD part (although I've noticed our f-body's like to understeer) but of course I've never driven an AWD car around a track but from what I've read, heard and seen, AWD's push a lot and have quite a bit of understeer and need more of a nose down attitude to get the handling right and then can be pretty competitive on the track. What say you? If I'm wrong, I'm gonna shut up and cry in a corner (ofcourse, having learned something ... but I ain't telling him, I'll just say I got sand in my eyes .. lol)

so ... does a properly setup AWD like a WRX match, supersede a prepped RWD or will they forever be lagging behind 'cos they belong on the dirt road?
