Are these long tubes? Pics of flanges and collectors? And any idea if they would they fit a LS motor in a 66 Lemans?

Yes, long tubes.

Here are some good pics: http://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-classified...headers-fs.html

Hawks Website: http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/hawks82-...penocats-1.aspx

No idea if they will fit a Lemans, but I'm guessing there is a MFG of headers for that year cars?

Shame its not about another $50 off, but it will do. I left a message with Bruce, but didn't receive a return call. I'll try again tomorrow.

Anyone seen any pictures of them actually installed? I'm just trying to figure out if they would still fit with the engine shoved back to the firewall and lowered a bit.

Four in, we need one more!

Nape, I can't find any photos of the firewall clearance. In general moving the motor down and back should be fine, the frame rails may be a concern at some point, but these headers are slip fit so I don't see that being an issue.

Edit: here are the 2"ones on a motor.

I don't think firewall clearance will be a problem if you're moving the motor down and aft.

If you're going down the only issue will be ground clearance. But for AI power why not just stick with F-body manifolds? Or are you thinking of going AIX? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/2thumbs.gif)
