Old Dominion Region is hosting a two-day Divisional Solo (Auto-X) at ACU-4 on April 25th and 26th. This event will bring drivers from all over the SCCA's Southeastern Division comprised of all of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, both Carolinas, East Tennessee, and the Virginia regions of Blue Ridge and Old Dominion. The event is open to all local auto-xers. Cost is $65 (SCCA) or $75 (non-SCCA) for auto-xers and $35 (SCCA) or $45 (non-SCCA) karters. (Formula Junior karters must be between the ages of 8 and 16 for this event.) Trophies will be given out at the end of the second day. Local auto-xers please note that this is a Divisional SCCA event, not a local regional event. Therefore only three (3) timed runs per entrant each day; there is no Novice or Street Tire PAXed classes (Ladies class my be PAXed depending upon the number of entries); all cars in the same class will run during the same heat; and once a heat has ended, all cars will remain in grid impound for 20 minutes to allow competitors to scrutinize each others cars. The combination of the best time from Saturday and the best time from Sunday will be combined to determine class winners.

Registration available on-line. Click here. (If you're not a MotorSportReg.Com member, you will be allowed to create a new account.) Please note that after you register, you still need to go to the Old Dominion website to sign up on the ACU-4 access list. (It's the first item on the Solo (Autocross) drop-down menu.)

ACU-4 is on the Navy's Little Creek Amphibious base in Norfolk. The course will be set on the extremly large concrete tarmac used to park the Navy's Hovercraft.
