Style points? a) It's autocross - smooth is fast and only fast gets you style points. What, you're going to wear an expensive suit? Sorry, must the cup of Starbucks.
If you bring artillery to a knife fight, you could still loose. Especially when you do not know how to operate the equipment or cannot reload fast enough.

Hey, no event is complete unless it has a noisy smoke machine throwing cones in the middle of it...

Oh I can operate the equipment just fine... and I don't need to reload... I hit what I'm aiming at the first time.
