with a deer on Tuesday evening. She is fine, the deer did not survive and her Jetta is not looking too good:

Well, the Jetta is on a trailer and will be delivered to Autobody Specialists in the morning. The oilpan also needs replacing and the drivers door has a couple of dents. I think the car might just be totalled.

Neil, it doesn't look as bad as I expected. That's not to say it looks good. How's Rhonda doing?

Looks like most of that will buff out while your grinding deer sausage.

Well, the wife is surprisingly unnerved by the whole story. Unfortunately the deer meat was too far gone to use for anything but carrion.

Track car, I think not. It's an auto and the one thing I really hate about this car is the gearbox.

Interesting how wifes get like that. My wife didn't get unnerved either when she smashed up the front of my TA, and she managed to blew up the airbags, crunch the hood, lights, bumpers, bumper support, knock the windshield out and tear up the dash, ect, ect. She said "It didn't seem like I was going that fast!"

I am glad your wife is alright.
