One of the winningest Camaro's in NASA history! Dozens of Track records and multiple National Championships in CMC2, TTC. Prepped for PTC. Car is as ran when we won the TTC National Championship at Sonoma Raceway end of last year.
More than $50,000 invested in the build. This car was a clean title, never wrecked True 1989 1LE 305 5 Speed Car. Cage and Safety equipment done by Alan Blaine. Anyone who has seen the car, knows this car is prepped second to none, spherical bearings throughout, 12" C6 Corvette Brakes with 17" Wheels (3 total sets of wheels included). Engine is now out of an '89 Corvette 350, Blueprinted and Balanced, Aluminum Heads, TPI Intake, 1" 3/4" headders 1 1/2 quart Accusump system, Full Custom 3" Race Exhaust, two mufflers to stay below 90DB for all Race Tracks. Trans is a TKO 600RR, with, SPEC Race Clutch & Prressure plate & aluminum driveshaft. Also includes original numbers matching World Class T5 trans, rebuilt by D&D Performance. Koni Shocks & H&R Race Springs. Caster Camber Plates, Bump Steer Kit, BMR Strut Tower Brace. RaceTech Race Seat, Momo Quick Release Hub & Steering Wheel, Full Halon Fire Suppression System. All original 1LE Camaro RaceCar, prepared with only the best of everything. Never a DNF in it's career. All panels on the car are the original 1LE, nothing replaced. Car was originally black, painted Competition Orange. Hood is Fiberglass '82 Z28 OEM hood. Priced for Quick sale $15,500 or best offer. Would love to see it go to a good home and get back on the track, we have 3 cars, and it's time to make room in the garage. Car can be run in PTC, PTB, CMC or American Iron. Tons of Spares, intakes, ignition, brakes, wheels, transmission etc. Additional Photos can be seen here: (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090354-72-e.jpg) (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090356-780-e.jpg) (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090358-276-e.jpg) (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090359-734-e.jpg) (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090361-585-e.jpg) (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090363-67-e.jpg) (IMG:http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images/listings/2015-12/1989_1le_camaro_setup_for_nasa_cmc_ptc_a-1451090369-824-e.jpg) http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images...90365-932-e.jpg http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images...90367-496-e.jpg http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images...90371-366-e.jpg http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images...90372-595-e.jpg http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images...90376-172-e.jpg http://classifieds.racerconnect.com/images...90382-643-e.jpg Email to dschotz at earthlink dot net |

I haven't seen this car in a couple years, but it was one of the cleanest race cars I've ever seen.

Any interest in selling the '89 WC T5 separately ? Cable driven speedo, WC, T5's are hard to find around here.

Congrats. That may be a new record. However, it is a VERY nice car.

Sweet!!! Off to Canada!! Wooo hooo! Arrived safe and sound in Canada Friday night in the middle of the night on the coldest day of the year Congrats. That may be a new record. However, it is a VERY nice car. Might have been a record but it was a difficult car to ignore - great prep, awesome pedigree, and exactly what I was looking for. Between the car and spares kit it was a great deal. Any interest in selling the '89 WC T5 separately ? Cable driven speedo, WC, T5's are hard to find around here. ~DaVe feel free to give me a shout Dave and we can work something out And thanks David - appreciate everything and will give you a shout in the next day or two This post has been edited by onelapcamaro: Jan 11 2016, 02:19 AM |

Well! Another 3rd gen in the West! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif)
I'll be heading up from Abbotsford to at least one race and maybe a track day at the Castrol Track in Edmonton this year. When the schedule is up, I'll know which one. Hope to see you there! Larry |

i've never run at Castrol but will probably give it a shot this year as we dial in the car before heading south. I'm looking forward to seeing what the car is capable of with a bit more power and some aero...

Should be a good reference check! |
