I should have posted this before.

There is an entry deadline the end of the month.

I did this last year when it was 7 days and broke after 5 days, but we had a great time.

Our dollar is really low right now so the entry would be cheap, as would any accommodations. For every USD, you get $1.42 CDN as of today.

It is 5 days of racing. You can drive or trailer your car. They include breakfast and lunch. If you want to camp it is included too.

There are 3 tracks, 6 layouts, 7 Time Attacks, 4 Autocrosses, 1 Drag Event and something they show as SP. We did do a standing 1/2 mile last year, but we are not at that track, so I am not sure on that event.

I would think New York, Vermont, Ohio and Pennsylvania would not be bad travel wise.

The Tracks, 2 are just amazing and you spend 4 days, they look National Parks, but with bad ass tracks and facilities. 3rd Facility is not as hot, but was fun. It is old, but long and challenging.

Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Nascar Truck Events and IMSA Events, are held here. Panoz owns it with Ron Fellows. With my HP we saw over 165 mph up the back straight. http://canadiantiremotorsportpark.com/#section-home

Calabogie Motorsports Park. I loved this place, but was also intimidated. Big track has 20 turns and is 5.0 KMs. http://www.calabogiemotorsports.com/

I have been pestering Eugenio to bring the monster, but it looks like he will not make it.

Last year it was a 1500km route, this year just 500kms. This year allows teams of 1 or 2, last year you had to have 2 - 4.

Here is the link to the event. http://ontario1500.ca/index.php

It does require a tire rating of 140 or higher TW. Other wise run what you brung. Race cars with the appropriate tire is ok.

If you have any questions, let me know or I can put you in touch with the right people.

Pics from last year.

A GT350 just entered.

All I need to do is beat it with this 18 year old heap, and I will be happy. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)
