This car is designed to run on the track or Open Road Racing.

We have completed an extensive upgrade of the car's safety equipment and performance, and this car is an incredible value for a track racer or an Open Road Race car. For Open Road Racing, it will Tech for SS2 or Unlimited with other race groups. If you want to track it, it qualifies for NASA American Iron -- Extreme. Here are some specs:

Full, 12-point fully welded roll cage, from the front bumper to the rear deck lid. The doors still open on both sides, and there are full ladder bars on both sides of the car. Two fully mounted race seats and window nets and 5-point harnesses.

22-gallon fuel cell, lowered and caged with 1" square tubing, the same as a Cup Car. This cell is NOT sitting in the rear hatch above the 3rd member, it's properly positioned and has a full sealed box around it per the ORR rules.

Engine is a 406 c.i. small block Chevy with some upgrades to produce approximately 500 HP and about 500 ft/pounds of torque. It has iron 2.02 heads, but they have been ported with upgraded valve springs, 1.6 roller rockers and stud girdles. Cam is solid roller, with roller lifters. If you upgrade to some Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads, or similar, you will save about 60 pounds and gain about 40 more HP. Engine bottom end is stout, with Carillo rods and 4-bolt splayed mains. Edelbrock Victor, Jr., manifold and Holley 850 Carb. IMHO, 400 small blocks are perfect ORR motors, as they make great power at lower rpms for reliability.

Ignition is a complete DUAL system, top of the line Crane with a Dual MSD distributor.

Transmission is T-10 4-speed.

Rear end is a Ford 9" with a mini-spool.

Rear brakes are Wilwood, fronts are stock (you will need to upgrade these if you are going to the track, but are OK for ORR).

The stock front K-member has been replaced with an aftermarket tubular version (road race, not the flimsy drag-race version), saving about 80 pounds. There are other suspension upgrades as well I will discuss if you are interested, including a torque arm.

The hood is fiberglass, and the front windshield is new Lexan. I also have a Lexan rear glass for you to change out, which will save you another 100 pounds as the stock rear hatch glass is very heavy. Total weight of the car is +/- 3000 pounds and replacing the rear glass and iron heads will save an additional 150 pounds.

Remote Master Switches (2), full instrumentation and Tach, and the headlights, brake lights, and blinkers still work.

At this moment, the engine/trans are out of the car and can be reinstalled in a few days, or I will sell it as a roller if you want to put your own engine in it.

The car will need paint or creative vinyl sheets as we did some body prep in a few areas. All prep areas are fully primed, sanded, and ready for paint.

Pictures are available to those interested. The car comes with a spare set of wheels. A fire system is not installed, but is easily done, or just add a Fire Extinguisher for all classes below Super Sport.

Price: $5500 as a roller, $7500 complete. This is a fair price and a REAL performance value. Call me at the office, 702-614-6108 or email me if interested. Credit Cards and PayPal are acceptible ways to pay me, too, for a 3% fee.
