Thanks Matt I had a bit of bad luck today in the first race, dry qually saw me 13th on grid out of 35 cars come the race the rains came and the sloweer front wheel drive cars were all over me, a dry line started appearing in the later half of the race and I started overtaking a few then caught up with one of my best mates and went down the outside of him down the straight but had to go off line and locked up the brakes my mate turned in to the chicane I went straight on T-boning him in the drivers door damaging both cars, I spun out and managed to restart as he did but he got glass in his face as the side glass shattered. My car not too bad needs a front fender and straightening out but his little Peuguet was not so good. 2nd race tomorrow will be on Motors TV live (digital stream) I will be on at about 2 to 3pm UK time. If its dry should be able to catch a few from the back of the pack.

Ouch Al. Hope everybody is ok. Sounds like a rough day at the track. Do you have a link to the broadcast (or where to find it)? Sorry to hear about the shunt. That sucks.

Link's working great, just watched the pre 83 and what I believed was older m3 touring car class. Another hour your class should be up.

Link's working great, just watched the pre 83 and what I believed was older m3 touring car class. Another hour your class should be up. Great I did fear it may not be available outside the UK! I had a better 2nd race and made up 10 places but clutch started slipping towards the end otherwise I would have caught some more but it was a dry race somehow and great fun after the previous days upset. I won my class both days although there was only one other car in the class it all counts. I have recorded some incar and will link here when done. We also have another live broadcast from Silverstone later in the season. BTW the race you just watched I often run my 2nd Gen in with that. Here is the youtube of the 2nd race I made up 10 places but unfortunately clutch started to slip but still a good race to make up for Saturdays disappointments. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E__0dRQ-hIA

Al,
I see that you and Steve McQueen have a common finger gesture. (IMG:http://www.retromotorsportgear.com/images/product_images/product_image_59.gif) |
