Time to sell my Kwikload 18 foot roll back car trailer. Comes with a Ramsey QM 5000 winch with remote. Two spare tires included. Fairing keep rocks and road debris from damaging your car.
Steel diamond plate loading deck. 7000lb GVWR, Torflex axles with EZ-lube hubs. Four 6000lb swivel tie downs. Removable fenders. Four wheel electric brakes. Two lockable tool boxes flush with floor on either side of the winch. Rear cutout allows for extra clearance for lowered vehicles. I bought this trailer new. Had it back at the manufacturer this month to go over it. Located near Fort Worth, TX. A separate battery powers the winch. There is a battery carrier in front of the fairing, between the spare tires.

I saw this trailer a few years ago at NASA nationals at Mid Ohio. It's the first one I ever saw and I thought it was a fantastic idea. If it was closer and I had a place to store it, I'd likely be interested (even if it's just to haul my broken junk home from the side of the road on occasion).

These trailers are awesome ... I've owned two over the years.
The winch and fairing are a bonus. Take reasonable care and you'll get your money back on resale. |

Yep. We have a couple of these in the paddock at our autocross events, one's even electricly-operated (which is an amazing thing to watch on it's own). (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) Ours has a couple of _very_ long steel ramps that's a chore to pull out and reload, especially in 100+-degree heat in Houston. We're thinking this will be a perfect upgrade, and I'm trying to figure out how to get up there to get it.
Our trailer has been great, and very dependable, but we'll be able to drive the car a LOT longer than we'll be able to LOAD the car with our current setup. |

Not really sure. They certainly appear better. They're cast iron, and not stamped metal. There's no locking tab to get wedged above the ball, so you think you have it hitched but it's not, as you discover going down the road. I've had zero issues with my trailer with a bulldog hitch, but have seen two instances where it was thought the other type was locked down, only to find that the locking tab was actually above the ball, and not locking the ball into the socket.
