Sat May 29 NESCC Event 1 - Devens, Ayer, MA
Event Day Schedule for Devens 7:00 - Gates open 8:00-9:00am - Registration open 8:15-9:15am - Tech open 9:30am - Driver's meeting 10:00am - First car off Entry fee for Devens events is $25, $20 for SCCA members. Please keep in mind that while we are a pretty laid back club in most respects, we need to adhere to these schedules to run a smooth event. Thanks for your understanding. Directions to Devens Devens is located in Ayer, MA in the northeast central part of the state, just off route 2 and I495. From either direction from I-495 take exit 30 (2A/110) and turn toward Ayer (that's to the NW). From either direction, you will make a left turn onto Rt 2A. Follow 2A all that way to Bishop road. You will go through a rotary about 5 1/2 mi from I-495. Continue on 2A which is the second exit in the rotary (straight across, just past the MacDonalds). You will then go about 1 mile and be in the center of downtown Ayer. 2A will take a right turn just past the main business district; there will be a Mobil station on your left at that corner. Travel about 1/2 a mile. A couple of hundred yards after Dunkin Donuts, take a left onto Bishop Road. After the cemetery (on left) go through the first gate. Two hundred yards after this, bear right at the 'Y'. This will take you into the site. I am - both days...
[edit] NER Noise Regulations Scroll down to read the new noise restrictions that are in place for all NER events. I don't recall what exhaust you have. Most people have had no problems meeting the noise cap, but one SM Camaro went over at a NHIS event (back end was facing the sound meter at a hard acceleration spot). I just want to point it out before you came down...[/edit] |
