It's getting "serious" now. I'd really like to find a new home for this stuff, particularly the short block.
OEM PS cooler from 2002 Camaro. It worked great and had no leaks when I removed it. These are known to leak on occasion, I replaced mine as a "while I was in there" thing, but if you want a spare, this was a good spare when removed.

After last year, I scheduled the days off as soon as it was announced for this year. Ryan puts on a great event. Should be even better this year at their own track. He gave a few of us a tour a couple weeks ago. Its come a long way. Still plenty to do, but looks much better than the day he purchased. It should be fun. All the UMI crew seem like good people. Can't wait to get on track and about as excited to get back to see the shop and projects again.
Same with the shootout they do at Carlisle. Even tho it was rainy, they made the best of it. My son took his money using a competitors products but it was all good. Good people. Good times.
So, how was it?
I'm in day two in the new house...so far I've installed cabinets above the washer and dryer, added some outlets, mounted a couple televisions on the wall, installed a microwave, wrapped up the alarm install (not really finished, but fully operational now), sealed the concrete in the garage, installed multiple ceiling fans (and my dad was in town and did a fan and some lights in the extra bedrooms) and I forget what else.
I still have to put up towel bars and such in the bathrooms, I need to get my cameras up and running, install some faucets and a new sink and cabinet in the half bath to replace the pedestal sink (as well as new fixtures, towel bars etc). I'm sure there's more, I just forget what it is (running in some 240v outlets for welders and such).
It was a good time. About 4hrs on the road for us each way. Showed up Thursday. Did a course walk with Sam S. & Brian Finch. Checked out the competition and ofcourse the host hotel parking lot party afterwards. Racing all day Friday (lunch provided) then off to UMI for BBQ and a shop tour. Racing again Saturday (lunch again) then car show open to the public with food, drink & live music. Ryan and crew had everything covered. The course was great. Thru the freshly paved infield, on & off the banked oval, everything else he provides for the weekend makes this a great EVENT, not just a race.
Everyone was already asking him "whats next years date?"
My son took 3rd place in his 2nd gen in "mid-year" class out of 20 cars.
I was 13th out of 26 in my '95 for "late-model" class. I felt pretty good about it since I'm a novice at this.
